​LEOPARDS OVERCOME DEFICIT TO WIN 'SUPER DUAL ONE' IN DRAMATIC FASHION
 
(Pittsburgh, PA) After the Cicadas' CJ Brucki knocked off undefeated Muhamed McBryde at 184 pounds, Leopard fans were worried. Trailing 36-10 with only two matches remaining, someone would have to put up big points to give the team a chance. Luke Surber did just that at 199 pounds with a 19-3 victory, earning him the Most Exciting Wrestling award in the dual. Now, the dual hung in the balance at heavyweight with the Cicadas still leading 36-31.

The Leopards' Zach Elam had to beat the hero of the Liberty Division Championships, Demetrius Thomas for the Leopards to pull off the comeback. The two giants battled to a 2-2 round tie in regulation, sending the final match of the dual into Sudden Victory Overtime in a bodylock starting position. As Elam headed into the closing seconds, his view was simple: "I gotta go get it."

As the big men battled on the edge of the mat, Elam tossed Thomas out of bounds for the pushout and the thrilling victory, giving the Leopards a 37-36 in the final score.
 
CLAW co-founder Tom Houck stated, “What an ending to an incredible season. The Cicadas were fantastic all year long and put up a tremendous effort. But the Leopards didn't panic and pulled off an incredible comeback to win this historic first ever Super Dual."

The day's festivities also included a Red Carpet Show featuring the athletes and their guests, followed by a All-Pro Clinic led by Enforcers' stars Peyton Hall and Reece Humphrey.
