​HAMMERS DETHRONE MAT KINGS

In a dual that looked like it could come down the heavyweight match, 184-pounder Lennox Wolak ruined the script with a stunning come-from-behind pin against Devin Skatzka, leading the Hammers to a 71-31 victory over the Mat Kings. 

With the Mat Kings leading 31-18, Skatzka jumped out to a big lead in the matchup of former NCAA All-Americans. Trailing 2 rounds to none heading into the final round, Wolak went for broke and hit a beautiful inside trip to land the pin. The Hammers then finished strong with Nate Jackson earning a technical fall at 199 pounds, and Sam Schuyler tossing last week's hero, Matt Stencel, in overtime to put the icing on the cake.

The Hammers will wrestle the Cradle City Cicadas next Tuesday for the Liberty Division title. The Mat Kings have a bye week before competing in the Battle for Respect on November 19.
