This site provides important information for athletes about the CLAW 2025 season. Interested wrestlers must register below for the Inaugural Draft to be held in Atlantic City, NJ on July 21, 2025. Athletes are not required to attend the draft in person.
Six General managers select their teams at the 2025 draft. If drafted, it's critical to honor this commitment as teammates are counting on you. Before registering for the Draft, please reserve the dates on your schedule (Oct 3-5, Nov 29) and review all information on this page, including the Athlete Contract, to avoid surprises. If not drafted, athletes are placed in a Free Agent Pool. You can remove your name at any time from the Pool if you're no longer interested in participating on the required dates. Free Agents can be claimed by a team to replace another wrestler at any time. For the first season, each team wrestles 3 dual meets. Most of these duals are held in State College, PA on October 3-5. Wrestlers will arrive on October 3 for orientation and individual/team photos. The 6 teams are divided into two divisions and compete in a round robin format. The winning team of each division advances to Super Dual One on November 29, 2025 in Pittsburgh, PA. Athletes are paid according to the Athlete Contract. Select athletes (e.g., NCAA champs, World Team members) may be eligible for additional signing bonuses. There may also be other opportunities to earn money (e.g., clinics, merch, community events). Wrestlers will be reimbursed for reasonable travel expenses at CLAW events. We will hold Zoom calls on April 15, May 15 and June 15 at 8 PM EDT to answer questions.
